C&C Pumping Services (“C&C”) is a full service concrete pumping company founded on June 5, 1997 in Winter Park, Florida as an owner-operator with one small line trailer pump. We currently maintain a fleet of boom pumps ranging in size from 20 to 65 meters, hydraulic trailer pumps, truck-mounted trailer pumps, placing booms, and a 40′ Krete placer. To complete the fleet, we have S-22EZ and S-15R laser screeds with 3D capabilities. Pumping concrete to those hard to reach places is easy to do with our full line of Boom Pumps, Small Line pumps, and Laser Screeds! We service all Central Florida counties.
What are Concrete Pumps?Laser Screeds?
Concrete Pumps
Machines used for transferring liquid concrete by pumping. There are two types of concrete pumps. The first type of concrete pump is known as a trailer-mounted boom concrete pump because is attached to a truck. It uses a remote-controlled articulating robotic arm (called a boom) to place concrete with pinpoint accuracy.
Boom pumps are used on most of the larger construction projects as they are capable of pumping at very high volumes and because of the labor saving nature of the placing boom. The second main type of concrete pump is either mounted on a truck and known as a truck-mounted concrete pump or placed on a trailer, and it is commonly referred to as a line pump or trailer-mounted concrete pump. This pump requires steel or flexible concrete placing hoses to be manually attached to the outlet of the machine. Those hoses are linked together and lead to wherever the concrete needs to be placed.
Line pumps are normally used for smaller volume concrete placing applications such as swimming pools, sidewalks, and single family home concrete slabs.
Laser Screed
Uses technology that produces slab-on-grade concrete floors that are flatter and stronger than any comparative floors produced by using conventional methods. They establish grade by laser, utilizing a 3D Profiler System, disperse concrete by auger, and then vibrate and consolidate the concrete.
Laser Screeds feature a self-leveling, 12-foot wide screed head that is mounted on a powerful 20-foot telescopic boom. In addition to being laser precise and mechanically powerful, they are fast. It can accurately screed 240 square feet of concrete in just 60 seconds. The console mounted computer maintains grade with laser precision and monitors the screed elevation at a rate of 5 times per second. That means more floor is placed daily and production schedules are satisfied or shortened. Concrete mixes containing steel fibers can also be screeded with ease.
Fast track production, high quality and cost effectiveness are all direct benefits of utilizing C&C Pumping Services machinery.
